What’s better than Harry Potter and bullet journals?? If you’re a huge potter head, I think that question is pretty easy to answer… nothing! These “magical” spreads will give you inspiration for everything from monthly spreads to mood trackers and everything in-between. It doesn’t matter if you’re going with a full Harry Potter theme or just a single page, you’ll find something to fit your bujo here!
These are the spreads I really like:
Harry Potter Monthly Cover
This is an absolutely breathtaking monthly spread for May! If Hogwarts was real (not convinced it isn’t) then haven’t you ever wondered what it would like in real life, and where it would be located? Well, I’ll tell you what, this drawing is exactly what it should look like, placed EXACTLY where it should be The lifelike drawing of the castle, the different shadings of the stature of the building, the pillars, and the way there is green grass surrounding it but then also close to a cliff of deep eery water, it’s extremely magical. I love the way she draws, and the elegance of the castle itself due to the light colors, and different shadings. I believe in magic after seeing this!
March Wand Weekly Spread
Wingardian Leviosa! I love this Harry Potter wand themed weekly spread! The page is filled with 7 different wands all starting from the corners and moving towards the center of the page all black and bolded. Then she adds in a Harry Potter font and bolds the days of the week, leaving plenty of room to write in between the wands. It’s magical looking and PERFECT for the Harry Potter lover in you. And people with wands get stuff done… so with this wandspiration you will too!
Hufflepuff Bujo Spread
Photo credit: McKenna Hansen on Instagram
This spread is set up in such a practical way, while still having just the right amount of magical decor throughout the page. I love the mini calendar created at the top of the page, and the cursive ‘Hufflepuff” that is less bolded, and elegant looking. The addition of the yellow highlighter badger and blackboard days of the week on the right make for a decorative addition, and overall it’s set up perfectly. Team Hufflepuff unite!
Slytherin Weekly Spread
This incorporates everything you could possibly want for the perfect Slytherin themed weekly spread. The shade of blue she chooses for the bubble lettered dates of the week, top of the page, and colors throughout the page are perfect. I love the little pot of secrets bubbling up from the bottom, and the Slytherin printed sticker at the top left corner of the page.. . The party don’t start til’ I Slytherin!
9 3/4 Habit Tracker
Photo credit: Marr Journal on Instagram
This is both a habit and mood tracker, and it’s set up so creatively. On the bottom left hand of the page is little Hedwig in his cage, sitting on luggage that says “HP” for Harry Potter… Envelopes are then flowing through the page, some opened with mini habit tracker calendar with things like reading, drawings, water, and painting included. The bricks from the platform wall are used for the mood tracker in the bottom right, which is super cool! A lot going on for such an organized tracker, that’s for sure. I’m owl about this!
Winged Keys Monthly Spread
Photo credit: Lettering This & That on Instagram
Maybe this key themed monthly spread can help you find your own personal key to happiness? This is a minimalist spread, with a lot of versatility in customization, and space if you wanted to add more color or decoration. My favorite part about this monthly spread is the uniqueness in the drawing of the key. She adds wings to each key, making them look almost fairy-like and quite dainty. This is adorable!
Slytherin Bujo Page
Here’s another Slytherin Harry Potter spread that I can’t get enough of! I love the bold green colors she uses, the way the page is set up with all of the cursive ancient wizard-like handwriting throughout. My favorite part about this, though? The extremely creative quote used. Vertically going down the right side of the page, it says “or perhaps in Slytherin, you’ll make your real friends. Those coming folks use any means to achieve their means”. It’s a creative set up, it’s colorful, and it’ll Slytherin to your heart this summer!
Harry Potter Expense Tracker
Photo credit: Debjani Ghosh on Instagram
There is so much I love about this, like the decorative “P” lettering in expense, like the Harry Potter lettering is, and how the expense tracker is set up in gold magical coloring. Plus, her addition to the “boy who lived” newspaper article in the background is an awesome and creative addition to the tracker itself. Money matters at Gringotts, and it should matter to you!
Harry Potter Spell Weekly Spread
I love how the entirety of the spread is taken up by a gorgeous drawing of a gigantic wand, with sparkles flowing throughout the page. The bottom of the page has that Harry Potter font we all love so much, and it’s a boxed weekly theme. Although it’s black and white, it leaves plenty of room for magical colors if you wanted to dress it up a bit. I can’t wait to waive this magic wand (pen) and create something just like this!
Hogwarts Weekly Spread
Photo credit: Il était une moldue on Instagram
Wow, wait until you peep the perfection of this stunning weekly spread! First of all, I can’t draw a castle near as detailed, small, delicate, lifelike, or as centered quite like she can. And then on top of that, the medieval handwriting that covers this spread through and through is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before, and it looks almost too real for comfort! This stunning castle is shaded red on the inside, has orange splatter or paint surrounding the bolded days of the week, and has the cutest teeny tiny writing coming from the castle. It’s enchanting and I would LOVE to live in this castle (for at least a weekly spreads time)!
Harry Potter Dragon Spread
Photo credit: Jessica Thompson on Instagram
Don’t be a DRAG this July… this Harry Potter dragon monthly spread will perk you right up! I love how the entirety of this theme is covered by a deep ocean blue color, especially paired with the white writing for the days of the month. The right side of the page is filled with a small calendar for July that is easy to read and utilize, while the left side of the page has an insanely aesthetically detailed drawing of a breathing dragon. It has an eerie look to it, which I love, as well as that Harry Potter vibe too! I wish spreads like this would drag on and on all summer long!
Hogwarts Crest Bujo Spread
Photo credit: A Girl In A Bullet on Instagram
Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home! Full of color in May with this monthly Harry Potter themed spread! I love the artistic inspiration in this spread. The left side of the page has a the Hogwart crest filling up the page which is drawn so perfectly. The right side of the page has a “May” drawn with Harry Potter font, as well as a quote and mini calendar. Artspiration at it’s finest!
Gryffindor Weekly Spread
This is a pretty minimalist set up for the week in a planner style platform, with some hints of Potter throughout. The top left of the spread has a decorated “mischief mangled” sandwiched between the month, which is February, and then the rest of the spread is dedicated to the days of the week with room to write. I love the little red flags surrounding the days of the week too, very Gryffindor esque. Gryffindorable!
Hogwarts Crest Weekly Spread
I love how this weekly spread is penciled out with the days of the week in a vertical rectangular theme, and how there is room to write important notes too! Everything is black and white, except for the bottom. The bottom has each house’s crest and. it’s absolutely stunning! The decorations pop out without taking away from the purpose of the weekly spread, to be able to write events and utilize. I’m definitely riding Harry Potter dirty this summer!
Harry Potter Brain Dump
If you think you might want to try a brain dump out in your bujo, or already utilize them and want a great theme, DOBBY THE ELF IS HERE TO HEAR IT ALL! The entirety of this page is made for writing, but on the bottom, there is a lifelike and adorable drawing of dobby the elf holding a sock. I love how she makes his eyes twinkle as if he’s sad like he is in the movies, and the incorporation of the owl in the cage too. This is set up perfectly, has the perfect amount of decor, and overall is an amazing brain dump spread. Dump away with Dobby, he’s for it!
Golden Snitch Monthly Spread
This monthly spread is definitely overachieving in all the right ways! The left side of the page is for utilization in the monthly calendar itself, and the right side of the page has a stunningly gold drawing of the Hufflepuff crest. There are other little drawings, quotes, and doodles throughout that I love too! Even though there seems to be a lot going on here, everything is placed perfectly in such a way that it all looks intricately designed. Definitely planning on Huffle puffing into a theme like this!
Harry Potter Reading List
Photo credit: Il était une moldue on Instagram
“You’re a wizard, Harry”. This is a spread for all of us book worms out there who want to keep track of the books we read this year, or this summer if we are really feeling “read-ey”. The black scratchy medieval handwriting is large, in charge, and Harry Potter- esque as ever, and I love the triangle drawing that almost looks as if it’s fading away inside the lines where you write. This summer you’re a bookworm, Harry!
Golden Snitch Spread
This might just be the missing puzzle piece in your bujo life, and it’s such a CATCH! There is so much going on in this spread that I am beyond obsessed with. First of all, a quidditch theme. The quidditch games were hands down my favorite parts in the movie! The left side of the page has the golden snitch at the top, surrounded by circular mini habit trackers. It’s a great way to track about 5 things easily, and with decoration and color! The right side of the page is a unique and stunning puzzle piece themed calendar, with the cutest drawing of little Harry Potter in his glasses. It’s drawn so well, so intricately, and is definitely one of my favorites of all time as far as Harry Potter themes go. This is where the magic happens!
Gryffindor Bujo Spread
The color Maroon screams Harry Potter, doesn’t it? And this theme has everything a Harry Potter lover would ever want or need! Here in this weekly spread, we’ve got swords, we’ve got Hogwarts school spirit, tigers, medieval writing, and all of the maroon you or Harry himself could ever want. I love how the spread is scattered with art and room to write, but how it all looks vertically neat and put together in all the right ways. Sugar, so sweet, won’t you come and make this Harry Potter theme with me!
Black & White Monthly Cover
This combines two of my very favorite things into one spread… Space and Harry Potter. What I love so much about this monthly spread is that it’s centered with the one drawing, making it look minimalist… But then when you really start looking at it you notice so many cool and unique pieces of art. A stunning and detailed drawing of Hogwarts is inside a gigantic cloud, where there are then little icons representing parts of Harry hanging below. It’s unique, it’s full of life and full of spacey planet magical party fun!
