I’ve been looking into the DIY wooden wall craze a lot, and I’ll be honest…
I’m not confident in myself when it comes to power tools and big planks. Tutorials like this make this project so doable because of the descriptive explanations and easy to understand pictures
This pallet wall requires absolutely no paint, and just different color planks. It’s rustic yet simple and would give your hallway or entryway wall that pop of farmhouse pizzazz you never knew you needed
You’ll love looking at this one, and it’s so unbelievably easy!

Have you been seeing that new dark and modern looking style of wood everywhere like I have?
It’s almost a mixture between tree branch brown, dark darker brown, and some grey. It’s STUNNING, don’t you think?
This DIY plank accent wall is made like any other, with 5 simple steps, only either before or after there is stain applied to give it that rusticly modern darker look. In this tutorial, the accent wall was placed in her bedroom and she used the color “Minwax dark walnut”
Staining is easy, and the turn out is gorgeous. Rusticly beautiful!

I absolutely love the color scheme chosen for this DIY wooden wall, it looks perfect above and surrounding a fireplace in the living room. She states the hardest part about this project itself was getting the color scheme just right, and boy did she do just that
I love the grey, white, and beige undertones she chooses here, they are so unique!

Did you know that you can actually get pallets for free?
It doesn’t happen every day, but if you’re looking for them every now and again if your timing is right you can find them under free in craigslist or facebook
I don’t know about you, but I’d be patient in creating this project for free pallets. The process is easy, the turn out looks great, and overall
I love this DIY wooden wall!

The secret to this cheap yet fancy-schmancy wooden wall? Plywood!
She spent eleven whopping dollars on 3/8 4 x 8 plywood, painted the plywood different shades of yellows and blues, cut, glued, and VOILA!
A wooden wall that will definitely make a statement, but won’t affect your monthly bank statement at all
White Shiplap Wall

I love the shiplap look. I find it modern, stunningly expensive looking, and overall a show stopper to any fireplace wall, entryway, or bedroom wall. But the problem is…
Just as it looks expensive, most of the time it IS. it can cost between 4,000 and 7,000 dollars to have a wall shiplapped. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have that laying around
With this DIY project, you won’t need to! This shiplap tutorial will save you so. Much. money. You will be spending less than 1,000 dollars for an 8,000 dollar look, and this tutorial makes it easier than you’d even imagine
13 materials and 10 steps (one being optional) will do wonders for your newly shiplapped wall, and the turnout will have you speechless
I love this project!

It can be more complicated than you’d think to find the right wooden wall for a kitchen…
There’s a lot going on as is in a kitchen, and they are all unique. You need to find the right size, shape, color, accent, etc for YOUR unique kitchen. This kitchen has wood cabinets as is, but wow!
The striped accent pairs perfectly with the solid brown of the rest of the kitchen in this picture and it’s so inspirational!
If your kitchen has some wood already in it, I highly recommend taking some inspiration from this

I love how this tutorial so easily outlines how to install a reclaimed wooden wall, and the steps are so easy to follow!
The white color stain used here is extremely unique, it would look fantastic above a fireplace or in a bedroom, and it’s one of the cheaper DIY projects due to the reclaimed wood used
Somewhere else I could see this white wooden beauty is in a nursery. Brown woods are a little dark in my opinion, but this is brightly wonderful with a farmhouse touch to it and I am obsessed!
What a gorgeously unique project

Wood you look at this stunning wood planked wall?
You’d never believe that this little DIY project is made with only 7 materials, two hours time, and Weaber weathered wall boards!
This is a smaller wooden wall and is a perfect decoration addition to a bedroom or living room. It’s really a good beginners project because it requires a lot less: less materials, less time, less preparation if you don’t stain, and less manpower
Once you perfect this the wooden possibilities are endless for your home!

Pretty in pink… more like gorgeous!
This is hands down the most stunning and adorable decor for a baby girls nursery I’ve seen to date. This wooden wall has a couple different colors of pastel pink, a smokey grey, as well as a floral tissue paper that is scattered throughout
Tissue paper on planks? Who knew how unbelievably easy and cute an addition like tissue paper would truly be
This could definitely be inspiration for a boys nursery too, just with different tissue paper used
Pretty, rustic, and farmhouse classy, what more could you want for your baby girls nursery room?
Modern Wood Accent Wall
Source: Love Create Celebrate
I really like the tactic used here to create a stunning wood accent wall!
She started by making a design on the wood using a pencil. You could customize and make your own design, but hers turns out absolutely gorgeous
After some measuring, cutting, and use of a nail gun her designs came to life, and she stained the wall a dark olive green, another unique yet stunning option for the wall itself
This is so pretty!

I love the look of adding some pizzazz to a plain old boring wall using wood, don’t you?
This beautiful wood accent wall is made for where it was placed, and you could and should do the same thing in your home!
She places her DIY accented wall right above the stairs by measuring, cutting, and nailing, and then puts a unique twist on it. By then staining a dark sandy brown she adds pictures to the wall and a light fixture
It places emphasis on the wall and gives the home such a cute and cozy decor in that area. How awesome is this?

This is such a gorgeously unique twist for bathroom decor, and it completely changes the aesthetics of any bathroom. Stain, planks, a saw, a drill, a light fixture, and less than $200 is all you need to create this party in your pooper
I can’t get enough of the “light fixture on the wooden wall” look, and it makes the lighting in the bathroom even better, which is great for perfect makeup applications during busy mornings spent in the bathroom

If you’re looking for the perfect bedroom wooden wall tutorial, you’ve met your match
This wooden wall takes up the entirety of the bedroom wall that the bed is on, and it has a very pretty farmhouse and rustic vibe to it
There are pictures for every single step done, including even showing how to go around outlets, which will be important if you’re doing the entirety of a bedroom. This will take a little more time, money, and steps, just because it does fill the entire wall, but the turnout is definitely worth it in the end

DIY Bedroom Wood Wall
Source: Love & Renovations
I know that wooden walls can start to get repetitive but this one definitely stands out!
They used charred wood planks to give it that super unique look that has a lot of depth to it. This wood look great in a room with light walls since the accent wall comes out on the darker side. I think nice off white walls with light carpet or flooring, paired with the wooden wall would turn out amazing!
You don’t have to burn the house down to get a super unique look!

I can’t get enough of the spaces between the stripes in this wooden wall!
This is unique in it’s set up, and very rustic. In this DIY tutorial, it shows this striped beauty being made for a nursery, but this would look amazing anywhere in your home
She also used a spray finish instead of a paint, which I think makes everything a lot easier, and you can’t even tell the difference. I love the addition of the giant “M” above the crib too, it adds such an adorable touch to the wall
What a great idea for wood use!

Stikwood Accent Wall
Source: Simple Cozy Charm
Is it seriously possible to peel and stick accent walls in your home and have them still look as beautiful as doing all the measuring, cutting, and nailing?
I had no idea this existed! Stikwood does not leave damage, does not have to be permanent (but can be), requires hardly any manual labor, and looks stunning as ever! I love the white stain she has on the stikwood and the addition to the holiday wreath
As soon as you get bored with it, it can come right off and you can create a new design. This is the wood of the future, definitely the wood of MY future

My favorite place to sit is right on a bar stool during happy hour sipping on a margarita
This bar room is absolutely stunning, and it would be a perfect set up for a basement bar. I love the brick tiles, and the modern light fixtures give it a gorgeous touch
And the shelves and hanging plants? Seriously, how beautiful is this. It’s a little more modern than farmhouse but still has that charming touch
I would sit here way too long and be a little tipsier than I want if I had this in my home, that’s for sure!

Son of a birch!
Can you believe how undeniably stunning this giant birch wood DIY project for a wooden wall is? Aside from the gorgeous aesthetics, birch panels only cost about $15 per panel at places like Home Depot and Lowes
You could buy 5-8 of them and have yourself a full wall full of light, calming, and modern birch. And I love the pattern in this project. She states they were going to stain or paint the birch, but after seeing how it turned out and came together, they decided against it
This is some serious birchspiration!
