Summer is finally here! I’ve been waiting all winter and spring to break out some new ideas to try in my bullet journal… If you’re anything like me, I’m sure you can relate! These super cute June monthly cover examples will give you some ideas to get started
Here are the covers I like:
Rose Golden June Cover
Photo credit: Paper Mango on Instagram
Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so is this rose themed June cover spread! First of all, the boxed “June” in the center with a small neatly written calendar to go with it looks computer printed, that’s how amazing the handwriting is. I love how she has 3D roses and origami hanging from the top of the page, and on the bottom of the page. Plus the polka dots throughout the page are super cute. I would use this theme for every month, but it definitely has a summer vibe to it. Stop and smell the roses this June!
Beach Theme

This theme is turtley awesome, I am SHELL in love with it! This absolutely screams the sandy beach, long summer days, and relaxation. I love the cursive and bolded black June centered in the page surrounded by a circle of seashells, starfish, anchors, cute little fish… But the best part has to be the adorable and neatly drawn turtle to finish it off the right way. I truly admire this, it’s creative, executed neatly, and the turn out is just the right amount of color for the perfect cover page. Love it!

2 Page June Cover

How unique is this two page June cover spread? This is stunning, I mean truly next level. If you’re going to go for a flower theme I’m usually all about coloring them in, but not in this case. She has a giant, gorgeously drawn pot of flowers in the center of the page that makes for a delicate and good vibe spread. Then, she creatively writes June in a gorgeous leaf green color over the top of the bouquet giving it just the right pop of color. I don’t know if I could draw this well, but this sure is flowerlicious motivation for the month!
Pineapple Theme
Photo credit: Alice Rebecca Coles on Instagram
I need everyone to agree that pineapple DOES belong on pizza, am I right? Asking the big questions today, folks. Regardless of what your opinion is on the pineapple pizza debate, we can DEFINITELY all agree that this pineapple themed June cover spread does belong in our bujo’s. These pineapples are drawn perfectly, and I love how they are scattered throughout the page surrounding a big June. The yellow/orange theme comes in hot for summer, pineapples are refreshing, and June and summer fruit like pineapples go hand in hand, kind of like pineapple on pizza 😉
Succulent Cover Page

I don’t have a purple problem, I have a purple passion! I love the way she has the succulent picture as borders for the top and bottom of the spread… What a calming and relaxing vibe this has to it, and it really is a gorgeous spread overall. If you’re into purple like I am, or a good flowered theme then you are absolutely going to love this one. And can we talk about the light green “June” written so adorably in the center? This is something special!
Black & White Theme
This is one of the most gorgeous black and white themes I’ve seen to date! The lettering looks almost faded like it was penciled perfectly in the right shade, and the giant flower drawn ever so elegantly and lifelike is absolutely stunning. My favorite part about this spread is the unique additions she has to the spread itself. Underneath the big “June” is a list of three important dates, and she does this monthly with dates she wants to remember. Her calendar that is added is also boxed and takes up the entirety of the left side of the page. At a glance, it’s able to be utilized effectively and simply. I’m all about this!
Hummingbird Cover Page

“If you want to fly, give up everything that weighs you down” – Anonymous. Hello June! I love this gorgeous hummingbird themed blue June spread. Is there any bird more stunning, more summer-like, and more mysterious than the tiny and delicate hummingbird? I will be honest, this drawing is over my head. I can’t relate to drawing anything nearly as lifelike, as gorgeous, and as perfectly drawn like this. The giant blue and green hummingbird paired with the blue “Hello June’ makes for an absolutely spectacular cover spread for the month. You won’t want to miss out on the beauty that is this one!
Daisy Theme Cover
Stay “lit” this summer with this sunshiny sunflower themed June cover spread. This is a cheery, bright, fun, and amazingly gorgeous spread…. kind of like the month of June itself! The daisies have pops of orange color but are mostly black and white, and the big JUNE placed on top of the flowers fades in ever so perfectly. This is one of those spreads that genuinely look printed, and made for the month. Bright and beautiful, how SUNTASTIC!
Rainbow Theme Cover
Sometimes just bringing color into your cover spread page can bring color into your life, and into your mood… This will help show your true positive colors! There’s a gorgeous rainbow “June” in the center with rainbow writing that states “time to show your colors” and voila! It’s bright enough, bold enough, and good enough standing all on its own. Rainbow rules!
Cute June Cover

Mason jars are in and I am ALL about them, and I mean every part of them. Decorating with them, drinking out of them, putting lights in them and hanging them, filling them with change, pretty much any and everything you can think of is prettier / better with mason jars… including this bold and blue mason jar themed cover spread for June! The refreshing looking blue drink, the perfectly drawn mason jar, the pop of yellow color in the lemon slices inside the drink, and the overall summer vibe it gives! I’m definitely thinking an entire summer of mason jar themes, who’s in?

Simple June Cover

This theme is perfect for a June cover spread, just in time for summer! It’s simple, it’s colorful, and it’s elegant… three of my favorite things in a spread. “June” is centered and neatly written and on each side of the word are multi-colored leaves perfectly placed, giving that summer feel that I need for the month. June is the gateway to summer, and these leaves present just that in this spread!
Seashell June Cover

Does anyone else need some vitamin SEA? So many details in this ocean and beach themed June cover spread, I can’t get enough. Modern meets adorable here with “hanging lights” that have things like seashells, crabs, and starfish hanging off of them, all in beautiful blue and gold colors. June is then directly centered, surrounded by bold dots, and finished with sand and a mason jar full of pebbles on the bottom. This is so unique, and so unbelievably detail-oriented. Meet me where the sky meets the water this June!
Pastel June Cover

You have cat to be kitten me right meow with this adorable cat themed June cover spread, it’s too cute to be real! If you know me then you know I’m a crazy cat lady, it’s kind of a “catastrophe”… so to speak. This theme is simple yet cute, with a centered June and mini calendar that is blue and pink pastel themed. On the bottom, she has a small and simple yet detailed and adorably gorgeous drawing of two little puffy fluffy pastel kitties. I’m always in the mood for a cat theme. Looking good, feline good!
Watercolor June Cover

Roses are red, violets are blue…. Or are they? Rose meets violet in this flower themed gorgeously colorful June themed spread. This cover page is just beyond amazing. The blue and purple colored flower art covers the entirety of the page, with the white filled in with color and June is bolded in the top right neatly and simply. It’s elegant, it’s perfectly and neatly executed, and it looks like something you would seriously find in an art gallery. I mean genuinely, this is pure motivation and absolutely stunning to look at. Go violet and blue this June!

Creative Monthly Cover

If you’re looking for some aid for your bujo this June, how about LEMONade? Everything about this lemon theme is amazing! All the little doodles are just crazy… From the broken glass to the lemons exploding out of the pitcher, to the intricate drawing of broken glass, leaves, and a giant green “June” on the bottom. Everything about this screams a refreshing and summery. I love a unique spread like this, it’s something I haven’t seen before and is pure inspiration for my cover spread this summer. Make lemonade with lemons this June!
Whale Cover Spread

Whale well well… if this isn’t the most adorable whale themed cover page I have ever seen! This June monthly cover is so detailed, so happy, and I whaley like it. There are little bubbles throughout the page, a lifelike blue whale centered, and a gorgeously cursive and neatly written “June” centering the page. It’s simple, but you can tell that a lot of detail and art went into making this cover page. This is coming…. Or blowing (if you will) in hot this summer!
Summertime Monthly Cover

Don’t worry, be HIPPIE! This totally radical hippie van and ice cream stand drawing is out of this world, man, totally. The big “June” at the top is made into cute pastel ice cream in such a unique way, and the minivan ice cream truck has a hippie yet modern feel. If you’re a free love peace and Woodstock loving gal like myself, this is going to be right up your 70’s alley. Let’s be wild and free this June!
Up June Cover Page
“So long boys! I’ll send you a postcard from Paradise Falls….” Is there any cuter (and sobbier) movie than UP? When I saw it in theatres I didn’t expect to need an entire box of kleenex. This “UP’ themed June cover page is balloony, bright, bold, and big-time artistic! The balloons take up most of the page, but there’s still a descriptive drawn house and a nicely drawn calendar. If you’re an “UP” fan you’re going to love this one!

Lighthouse June Cover

Windy and wavy! This lighthouse themed June cover spread is goals. It’s dark and dreary but in only the best way. The descriptiveness of the waves crashing into the peer tied with the lifelike drawing of the big white lighthouse makes for the perfect stormy spread. It’s calming in an eerie way, and it’s drawn to perfection. There is no calendar, but there is a large and bolded “June” on the bottom of the artwork but I’m sure you could customize to your liking. Gorgeously dark and twisted!
Brown Paper June Cover
Looking for a super simple but adorable monthly cover for June?! (or any month really). If so, then this spread is definitely going to give you some ideas! I love how she used brown paper for the title and not to mention the super cute drop shadow. At first, I almost thought the text was gold… and I would love the spread either way. But the part that I’m definitely going to take inspiration from has to be the adorable border / wreath she has around the text… It’s quick and easy but you could literally add that to any page in your bullet journal and still have it look amazing!
Fruit Theme
Fun and fruity, this June cover spread will be the apple of your eye this summer! For many of us, fresh fruit is one of the best parts of summer… along with beach days, cold drinks, and those long summer nights. Start your month off refreshed and juicy with scatters of fruit, bright colors, and a neatly and adorable written June to go with it. I absolutely love the bright colors used here, and I plan on definitely doing something similar in my bujo!

Black & Gold Theme

Most people call me the knitting ninja…. Okay, that’s not true and I am a terrible knitter, but I still love buying yarn for my mom so SHE can knit me things. This yarn and needle themed June cover spread is cozy and cute just in time for summer. The giant black and bolded “June” has a modern feel to it, and I love how the needle thread is centered and travels around the word. It’s simple yet fully decorated and would fit most themes for the rest of the trackers in the bujo. All about this!
